Great food, good service

Lip-smacking delicious every single time. Their brisket is some of the best I have ever eaten - juicy, and tender with the right amount of smoke flavor. And the sauce! I would go eat there for the sauce alone.

Big Jakes, YUM! Restuarant is always clean and well maintained. I get my orders fast. BBQ Fries with chopped smoked sausage is my go to menu choice!

The food is good, but I would avoid ordering off of delivery. They charge extra for almost everything and don't even include them with your food. Additionally, my food was not fully cooked.

Only thing good from that place was the sweet tea. Brisket was dry sausage was dry baked beans had little to no smoke flavor. Sweet potatoes fries were soggy Texas toast only toasted on one side. Kansas city barbecue is way better. I've tried two places so far and have been disappointed twice. Service was slow and aggravating. Portions are way small for the asking price. I get way more bang for my buck in KC. And I'm from here is what makes this so sad. Would not recommend

The restaurant on Richmond Road seems utterly incapable of getting my order correct. Every single time I go thru the drive thru I have to ask for utensils. Still...half the time I don't get any. If I get fries, I ask for Ketchup. Half the time I don't get that. How hard can this be - especially when I ask for them specifically at the menu board - and them ask them to double-check at the pickup window?????

Clean and responsible (hand sanitizer, masks, etc.) in COVID times. Friendly staff, fast service and delicious food (sandwiches and best fried okra ever)! Fried pies great!!

Our first time here. I had the chopped brisket with Cole slaw, wife had sliced chicken with sweet potato fries, baby daughter had kids rib plate and other daughter had brisket and pork taco with fresh cut fries. Everything was fast, hot and tasty. The ribs were good flavor but tough. They have beans for you to eat with several flavor BBQ sauces. The pickles are half cucumber half dill... Not sure if I liked them... The price was good for 3 of us eating BBQ. The location was easy to get to, clean restroom and friendly staff. We will be back.

Great service and awesome food

Big Jake's bbq is a must stop when you are in Texarkana. With three locations, you are near a Big Jake's no matter the part of town you are visiting. The prices are very good, with a meal and drinks costing my wife and I around $25. One important thing I like; happy employees. We have been eating at Big Jake's for some twelve years and I have never had an unpleasant experience. My favorite meats are ribs, and chicken breast. Other treats include chopped or sliced brisket, hot sausage, and turkey. The beans are among the best you will eat. Get this; beans are free! Also served are fried pies to help round out your meal. Eat well.

Always great. The BBQ never disappoints. They have the best coleslaw and pickles of any I've ever tasted. Big Jake's is a family favorite.

I ordered a plate with 2 sides and 1 meat. For $10.00, I received cole slaw and potato salad that were out of a carton and one(1) hot link. Will not return.

Delicious food, good variety, friendly and helpful staff. Nice variety of sauces and they're kept warm. Clean and inviting place to eat inside.

Love their baked potatoes; I usually eat there several times a week. I don't like how you have to wear a mask inside just to dine in. How are you suppose to eat and wear a mask at the same time?! I refuse to eat in the dining room so I guess I'll be going through the drive thru indefinitely.
